AS Balsnack International Holding : Estonian start-up
The German market was especially difficult to enter into, and it took 9 months to finalise contracts. However at a trade fair, we made contact with one very important client, and from that personal connection, our entry into that market took off. Entering the Hong Kong market was much quicker (it only took 4 months) because we could send and use our own packaging design. In fact, we were surprised that in some ways it takes more effort to export to European than to non-European markets.
